Meghma is right at the cusp of the India and Nepal border and thus is enriched with the beauty of the Himalayas stretching from one country to the other. Just at the entrance to Meghma is an age-old Buddhist monastery – the Sangchen Ugagyur Hoshal Dechen Choling Monastery connected with local tradition and heritage. Trekking routes to Tumling on the one side and to Tonglu on the other emerge from the central part of Meghma. For adventurous trekkers, this is a great place to both halts in between their thrilling journeys as well as to spend a few days closely encountering the innocent beauty of pastoral mountainous nature cut off from the mechanical torrents of city life.

1. How to reach the campsite?
You can reach the campsite by reserving a car from NJP to Manebhanjan which will cost you around 4000/- for a Tata SUV or similar or you can take share cars from Darjeeling More.
Manebhanjan to Meghma 1500/- for a Land Rover or Bolero (6-7 heads)
2. What are the staying option available at the campsite?
Homestays and tents are available at Meghma.
3. What will we get at this price?
Accommodation and Food are included in the package but you can order Chicken Barbeque and other foods at the campsite depending upon availability.
4. Facilities available at the campsite?
Running water and western toilets. Car pickup-drop and Guide facilities on request are available at the campsite.

As local people run our camps, we can assume they are the best person to provide safety.
6. Alcohol consumption?
Meghma Homestay is an adventurous campsite providing experiences very close to nature. As alcohol consumption is injurious to health, we strongly discourage drinking alcohol on the campsite.
