Fikkalay Gaon: A quaint village approximately 10-15 kilometers from Kalimpong town, situated at an altitude of about 4,500 feet. Kaffergaon: Located around 30 kilometers from Kalimpong and about 6 kilometers from Lolegaon, nestled beneath the Lolegaon forest.
Fikkaleygaon – A peaceful hamlet with stunning views of Kanchenjunga. Kaffergaon – A hidden gem offering tranquility, beautiful sunrise views, and a rural experience.
Spring (March-May) – Pleasant weather and blooming rhododendrons. Autumn (October-November) – Best mountain views and clear skies. Winter (December-February) – Cold but offers a chance to see snow in higher areas. Monsoon (June-September) – Lush greenery but may have landslides and roadblocks.

ATMs are scarce. It's recommended to carry sufficient cash from Kalimpong before proceeding to the villages.
Roads from Kalimpong to Fikkalay Gaon are generally in good condition. The route to Kaffergaon has some rough patches but is manageable with a hired vehicle. Roads may become slippery during monsoons, so caution is advised.
No hospitals in the villages. The nearest medical facilities are in Kalimpong. Carry basic medicines, as pharmacies are limited. For emergencies, locals can arrange transport to Kalimpong.
