However, a highly interesting aspect of this place is the Kapalkundala temple connected intrinsically with the literary heritage of Bengal. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, the universally acclaimed Sahityasamrat, based his famous narrative of Kapalkundala based on his experiences in this place and his visits to the temple where he met a saint upon whom he based on of the major characters in the narrative. The said temple, known as the Kapalkundala temple with a shrine dedicated to Shiva and Chandi each, is still there to be explored as a tourist spot as well as religious site. However, if you want some more adventure and amusement you can visit the Bankiput beach nearby for walks in the white sand, fishing and walks through the dense forest bordering it. Another beach that you should not miss exploring nearby is Baguran Jalpai, famous for its casuarina trees and multitudes of red crabs that form an eye-catching red layer over the sand with their huge numbers. 1. How do I reach the campsite?
You can reach the campsite by train from Howrah to Contai or by bus from Esplanade to Rupasri Bi Pass, after taking an auto for dariapur , directly to the campsite which will cost you 300/- for a reserved auto and 600/- for a reserved car.
2. What are the staying option available at the campsite?
Backpackers' Cottage, Couple Cottage, and Friends Cottage are available at Dariapur.
3. What will I get at this price?
Accommodation, food, and mineral water are included in the package, but you can order chicken barbecue and other foods at the campsite depending on availability.
4. Facilities available at the campsite?
Running water and western toilets. Car pickup-drop facilities on request are available at the campsite.

6. Alcohol consumption?
Dariapur is an adventurous campsite, providing experiences very close to nature. As alcohol consumption is injurious to health, we strongly discourage the drinking of alcohol in the campsite.
