The journey towards the mystical hamlet Lepchakha is an unforgettable experience in itself which is full of pictorial sights. After covering a distance of 20km from Alipurduar tourist will reach to the Buxa Tiger Reserve and after reaching tiger reserve, they need to trek through the dense forest of mixed-wet trees towards Lepchakha. Lepchakha village is often considered as the "Queen of Dooars" due to its bewitching panoramic vista of the 12 rivers flowing through Dooars which looks like glistening snakes meandering through the plains along with the serene ambiance which have left many tourists spell bound by the Lepchakha's beauty.
