The region is surrounded by the majestic Himalayan mountains, making it a picturesque destination. The settlement of Phensong is encircled by mountains, and the hills and mountains offer numerous trails for climbing and trekking. The Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism is practiced at the village's historic monastery, also known as Phensang Monastery or Phensang Gompa. The Monastery is famous for its stunning architecture, vibrant murals, and historic texts. Visitors can take in the serene ambiance while seeing the monks do their daily rituals and prayers.

Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
From Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Station, you can take a taxi, shared taxi to reach Gangtok. It takes around four hours. Bus service is also available. From Siliguri, you can get the bus to reach Gangtok.
