Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Samdur Boutique Stay is straightforward and scenic, with winding mountain roads and sweeping valley views accompanying most of your journey. From Bagdogra International Airport (approx. 114 km) - By Private Taxi: The most comfortable option, ideal if you’re carrying luggage or travelling with family. Pre-book a taxi or hire one from the airport counter and drive via Siliguri – Sevoke Road – Rangpo – Ranipool – Samdur. The journey usually takes 4.5–5.5 hours, depending on traffic and weather. - By Shared Jeep: Take a shared jeep from outside the airport area or from Siliguri to Gangtok. From Gangtok, you’ll find frequent shared jeeps or local taxis heading towards Lower Samdur; ask to be dropped near Samdur Bazaar and continue the short ride or walk to the property. - By Bus: First reach Siliguri Bus Stand by local taxi from the airport, then board a SNT or private bus to Gangtok. From the Gangtok SNT Bus Stand, hire a local taxi or shared jeep towards Samdur. From New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station (approx. 109 km) - By Private Taxi: Taxis are easily available outside the station. The route follows a similar path via Siliguri – Sevoke – Rangpo – Ranipool – Samdur. Travel time is around 4.5–5 hours. This is the most convenient choice if you prefer a direct, door-to-door transfer. - By Shared Jeep: Walk to the shared jeep stand near NJP or Siliguri, then board a jeep to Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok, switch to a local taxi or shared jeep for Lower Samdur. This option is budget-friendly and popular with solo travellers. - By Bus: Take an auto or taxi from NJP to Siliguri Bus Stand, then catch a government (SNT) or private bus to Gangtok. At the Gangtok SNT Bus Stand, continue the last leg by local taxi or shared jeep to Samdur. From Gangtok SNT Bus Stand (approx. 10.8 km) - By Local Taxi: The quickest and easiest way. Taxis from the stand regularly ply towards Ranipool and adjoining areas; ask the driver to drop you at Lower Samdur. The ride usually takes 25–35 minutes, subject to traffic. - By Shared Jeep: Shared jeeps running on the Gangtok–Ranipool route often pass close to Samdur. Inform the driver about your stop in advance and get off at the nearest drop point, then take a short local taxi ride if needed. Road & Weather Tips - Mountain roads can be foggy or wet, especially during the monsoon and winter months. Start early in the day for clearer visibility and smoother traffic. - Keep a light jacket handy, as temperatures tend to drop quickly in the hills. - It’s advisable to pre-book your taxi during peak tourist seasons to avoid last-minute hassles.
