Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Darjeeling Retreat is straightforward and scenic, with multiple transport options from major hubs in North Bengal. From Bagdogra International Airport (approx. 67.8 km) - By private taxi: The most comfortable and time-saving option. Pre-paid and private taxis are readily available outside the terminal. The drive to Darjeeling typically takes 3–3.5 hours, winding through lush tea gardens and hill settlements. Ask to be dropped at Chauk Bazaar; from there, you’re just a short walk to Robertson Road where the property is located. - By shared jeep: A budget-friendly choice if you don’t mind sharing. Shared jeeps towards Darjeeling operate from Siliguri and near the airport area. Once you reach Darjeeling’s main stand at Chauk Bazaar, it’s an easy 5–10-minute walk to Darjeeling Retreat on Robertson Road. From New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station (approx. 71.2 km) - By private taxi: Step outside the railway station to find plenty of taxis offering direct transfers to Darjeeling. The journey usually takes about 3–4 hours depending on traffic and weather. Inform the driver you need to get down at Chauk Bazaar; from there, continue a short distance uphill along Robertson Road to reach the retreat. - By shared jeep: Head to the shared jeep stands near NJP or Siliguri. Shared jeeps run frequently during the day and are a popular way to reach Darjeeling. Get off at Darjeeling Chauk Bazaar; the property is a convenient walk away, close to the main market area. - By bus: State-run and private buses mostly operate from Siliguri bus stands (approximately 8–10 km from NJP). Take an auto or taxi from NJP to Siliguri, then board a bus towards Darjeeling Nbstc Bus Stand. From the bus stand (about 400 m away), you can walk or take a local taxi directly to the property near Chauk Bazaar. From Darjeeling Nbstc Bus Stand (approx. 400 m) - On foot: If you’re light on luggage, enjoy a short walk through the bustling lanes of Chauk Bazaar. Follow the road towards Robertson Road; look out for signboards and local shops that line the way. - By local cab: Small local taxis (including shared local cars) can be hired from the stand to take you closer to Robertson Road, convenient if you have heavy bags or are arriving late. Local Tips - Roads are hilly and can be foggy in winter and monsoon; book your transfers in advance and plan extra time. - Shared jeeps are economical but can be crowded—ideal for adventurous travelers and backpackers. - Private taxis offer flexibility for photo stops at viewpoints such as Kurseong or along the tea estates. - Once in Chauk Bazaar, you’ll find the retreat’s setting very accessible for walking around central Darjeeling.
