Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Kalpa Retreat is part of the adventure of visiting the high Himalayas of Kinnaur. By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport, Kullu Manali, about 337 km away. From the airport, you can hire a private taxi or shared jeep towards Reckong Peo and onward to Kalpa. The drive takes roughly 10–12 hours depending on road conditions, and follows the scenic Sutlej River valley with ever-changing mountain views. By Train: Kalka Railway Station, around 312 km from Kalpa, is the most convenient major railhead. From Kalka, you can: - Take a taxi directly to Kalpa Retreat via Shimla, Narkanda, and Rampur - Or travel by bus from Kalka/Chandigarh to Reckong Peo, then continue by local taxi or shared jeep to Kalpa The road journey from Kalka usually takes 10–11 hours, so many travelers break the trip with an overnight stop in Shimla or Narkanda. By Road & Bus: Kalpa is well connected by road to Shimla and other Himachal towns. Regular HRTC and private buses run to Reckong Peo, the district headquarters, which is only a short ride away from the retreat. - From Shimla: Buses and shared jeeps go to Reckong Peo (about 220 km). From there, hire a taxi or shared jeep to Kalpa. - From Reckong Peo: Kalpa Retreat is located on the road below the Regional Hospital Peo in Kalpa. Local taxis and shared jeeps are easily available from Peo bus stand, about 4.6 km from Kalpa Bus Stand. Local Transfers: From nearby hubs like Reckong Peo and Kalpa Bus Stand, you can opt for shared jeeps for a budget-friendly ride, or choose a private taxi for more comfort, especially if traveling with family or with luggage. Buses also connect the main points, but taxis and jeeps are the most flexible way to reach the property door-to-door.
