Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Shimla Retreat is straightforward and scenic, with multiple options from Chandigarh, the main gateway to the hills. From Chandigarh Railway Station (approx. 106 km): - By Private Taxi: Hire a prepaid or app-based taxi directly from the station for a comfortable 3.5–4.5 hour drive via NH5. This is the most convenient choice if you’re traveling with family or have extra luggage. - By Shared Jeep: Shared jeeps to Shimla are available near the station and main bus stand areas in Chandigarh. They’re more economical and ideal for solo travelers or small groups looking to save on costs. - By Bus: Walk or take a short local transfer to Chandigarh Bus Stand and board a Volvo or deluxe bus to Shimla ISBT Tutikandi. From ISBT Tutikandi, Shimla Retreat is just a short ride away by local taxi or on foot, depending on your luggage. From Chandigarh Bus Stand (approx. 106 km): - By Bus: Choose from frequent HRTC and private buses heading to Shimla, many of which terminate at ISBT Tutikandi. The journey takes around 4–5 hours through winding mountain roads and forested valleys. - By Private Taxi: Taxis are available outside the bus stand for a direct transfer to the property, ideal for late-night or early-morning arrivals. - By Shared Jeep: Look for shared jeeps operating on the Chandigarh–Shimla route; they’re a good balance between cost and convenience. From Chandigarh Airport (approx. 122 km): - By Private Taxi: The most seamless option from the airport is a direct private taxi to Shimla Retreat. The drive takes around 4–5 hours and lets you enjoy the changing landscapes from plains to pine-covered hills. - By Bus: Take a taxi or local transfer from the airport to Chandigarh Bus Stand, then catch a bus to Shimla ISBT Tutikandi. From there, you can reach the property via local taxi or a brief walk. Local Access in Shimla: Shimla Retreat is located below the new ISBT in Tutikandi, near Euphoria Grand. Once you reach ISBT Tutikandi: - By Taxi: Local cabs are readily available at the bus stand; ask for Tutikandi, near Euphoria Grand. The ride is quick and convenient, especially with luggage. - On Foot: If you’re traveling light, you can walk down from the bus stand to the property, taking in the fresh mountain air and hillside views.
