For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Chitkul Retreat is an adventure through some of Himachal Pradesh’s most dramatic mountain landscapes. By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu–Manali), about 264 km away. From the airport, you can hire a private taxi directly to Chitkul or take a shared jeep toward Sangla and then onward to Chitkul. The drive takes 8–10 hours depending on weather and road conditions, following the scenic Sutlej and Baspa valleys. By Train: Kalka Railway Station, roughly 329 km from Chitkul, is the most practical railhead. From Kalka, travelers usually continue by road via Shimla – Narkanda – Rampur – Karcham – Sangla – Chitkul. You can: - Book a private taxi for a comfortable, direct journey. - Travel by bus from Kalka/Chandigarh towards Reckong Peo or Sangla, and then take a connecting bus, shared jeep, or taxi to Chitkul. By Road & Bus: Chitkul is well linked by mountain roads. HRTC and local buses run from Shimla, Rampur, and Reckong Peo towards Sangla/Chitkul. The property is just about 100 meters from Chitkul Bus Stand, making it easy for bus travelers to walk in with their luggage. Local Transfers: From nearby hubs like Sangla or Reckong Peo, you can choose: - Shared jeeps for a budget-friendly ride with locals and fellow travelers. - Private taxis for flexible stops and photography breaks along the Baspa valley. - Buses for an authentic Himachali travel experience. Seasonal Note: Roads can be affected by snowfall and landslides in peak winter and monsoon. It’s wise to check weather, road status, and bus timings in advance, and to plan arrivals during daylight for the best and safest views of the valley.
