Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Kufri Home Stay is convenient from major hubs in Himachal and Chandigarh. From Chandigarh Airport (approx. 128 km): - By Private Taxi: Hire a prepaid or app-based cab from the airport towards Shimla–Kufri. The drive takes around 4–5 hours via NH5, passing through scenic mountain roads and pine forests. Ask the driver to drop you near Chandel General Store in Kufri, just off the main road. - By Bus + Local Transfer: Take a Volvo or Himachal Road Transport bus from Chandigarh to Shimla ISBT. From Shimla Bus Stand, board a Kufri-bound local bus or shared jeep and get down at Kufri market/Chandel General Store. A short walk brings you to the homestay. From Kalka Railway Station (approx. 102 km): - By Taxi: Taxis are easily available outside the station. The journey via Kalka–Shimla highway is about 3.5–4.5 hours depending on traffic. Continue past Shimla towards Kufri and ask to stop at Chandel General Store. - By Toy Train + Road: Take the famous Kalka–Shimla toy train to Shimla for a scenic ride through tunnels and hill views. From Shimla railway station, hire a taxi or take a local bus/shared jeep to Kufri and get off at or near Chandel General Store. From Shimla Bus Stand (approx. 20 km): - By Local Bus: Regular buses run from Shimla to Kufri throughout the day. Board any Kufri or Fagu-bound bus and alight at Kufri. From the drop point, Chandel General Store area is a short, easy walk. - By Shared Jeep: Shared jeeps and local cabs frequently ply the Shimla–Kufri route. They are faster than buses and an economical option for solo travelers. - By Private Taxi: Ideal for families or those arriving with luggage. A direct cab from Shimla Bus Stand brings you comfortably to the homestay in about 45–60 minutes. In Winters: Roads are generally kept open, but snowfall can slow traffic. Plan extra travel time and consider a 4x4 or local driver experienced with hill roads during heavy snow.
