Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Jowai Guest Inn in Umlārem, Meghalaya is best reached via Guwahati, the main gateway to the region. From Guwahati Airport (approx. 203 km): - **Private Taxi:** The most convenient and time-saving option. Pre-book a cab from the airport for a direct, scenic drive to Umlārem, passing rolling hills and lush valleys. The journey typically takes 6–7 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. - **Shared Jeep + Local Transfer:** Take a shared jeep or taxi from the airport area towards Shillong, then continue onward from Shillong or Jowai by another shared jeep or local cab to Umlārem. This is more budget-friendly and gives you a taste of local travel. - **Bus:** Take a state or private bus from Guwahati towards Shillong or Jowai. From Jowai town, hire a local taxi or shared jeep to reach the guest inn. Buses are slower but economical and offer a local, immersive travel experience. From Guwahati Railway Station (approx. 179 km): - **Private Taxi:** Hire a cab directly from the station for a comfortable door-to-door transfer. This is ideal for families, groups, or travelers with luggage. - **Shared Jeeps & Buses:** Walk or take a short auto-rickshaw ride to the shared taxi or bus stands in Guwahati. Board a vehicle bound for Shillong or Jowai, then switch to a local taxi or jeep for the final leg to Umlārem. Local Tips: - Start early in the day to enjoy the mountain views and avoid late-evening driving in hilly terrain. - Road conditions and travel times can vary with the season, so allow buffer time and confirm last-mile transport from Jowai or Shillong in advance.
