For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Bomdila Homestay is a scenic journey through the hills of Arunachal Pradesh. The nearest major gateway is Guwahati in Assam. From Guwahati Railway Station (approx. 262 km): - Shared Jeep: Head to the Paltan Bazar/ASTC area outside the railway station and look for shared jeeps going towards Bomdila or Dirang. This is a popular and budget‑friendly option, though often crowded. The drive takes around 8–10 hours depending on road and weather conditions. - Private Taxi: You can hire a private cab from just outside the station or arrange one in advance through local operators. This is the most comfortable way to travel, giving you flexibility for photo stops and tea breaks along the mountain route. - Bus: State transport and private buses operate from Guwahati towards Bomdila. Buses usually leave in the evening or early morning from the ISBT or ASTC bus stand near Paltan Bazar. Advance booking is recommended in peak seasons. From Guwahati Airport (Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport – approx. 277 km): - Private Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport arrival area. Hiring a cab directly to Bomdila offers a seamless transfer, ideal if you are carrying luggage or traveling with family. The route typically goes via Tezpur and Bhalukpong, then climbs steadily into the hills. - Airport to City + Shared Jeep/Bus: You can first take a taxi or airport bus into Guwahati city (Paltan Bazar/ISBT), then switch to a shared jeep or bus bound for Bomdila. Local Access to the Homestay (6th Mile, Bomdila, Dirang H.Q.): Once you reach Bomdila town, local taxis and shared cabs can drop you at the 6th Mile area near Dirang H.Q. The property is reachable by road throughout the year, and the presence of parking makes it convenient if you are self‑driving or using a hired vehicle. Travel Tips: - Start early from Guwahati to make the most of daylight on the mountain roads. - In winter and monsoon months, check road conditions and keep some buffer time for your journey. - Carry a light jacket, as the temperature can drop quickly once you enter the hills.
