Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching this homely retreat in Ghalaytar, Sittong Khasmahal is fairly straightforward and scenic. From New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (approx. 51 km) - Step out of NJP and you’ll find plenty of shared jeeps and private taxis heading towards Kurseong or Teesta Bazar. - The most convenient route is NJP → Sevoke → Kalijhora → Latpanchar/Sittong. From Kalijhora or Latpanchar, you can hire a local cab or shared jeep directly to Ghalaytar. - Private taxis can be pre-booked for a direct station-to-homestay transfer, ideal if you’re traveling with family or carrying extra luggage. From Tenzing Norgay Central Bus Terminus, Siliguri (approx. 48.3 km) - Take a bus or shared jeep from Siliguri towards Kalijhora, Kurseong, or Teesta Bazar. - Get down at Kalijhora or the closest junction suggested by the driver and shift to a local shared jeep or taxi for the uphill drive to Sittong. - For a smoother journey, you can also hire a private taxi from the bus terminus that will bring you straight to the property. From Bagdogra International Airport (approx. 62.5 km) - Outside the terminal, you’ll find prepaid taxis and private cabs. Request a drop to Sittong via Sevoke–Kalijhora, which is the most commonly used and scenic route along the Teesta River. - If you prefer shared travel, first take a taxi or auto to Siliguri, then board a shared jeep or bus towards Kalijhora/Teesta Bazar and switch to a local cab for the final stretch. Road Conditions & Tips - The last leg of the journey involves mountain roads with bends and gradual climbs, but the route is motorable throughout the year. - Daytime travel is recommended for the best views and easier navigation. - Confirm your pickup point in advance; the host can often help coordinate a trusted local driver for a hassle-free arrival.
