Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Jowai Resort is part of the adventure of exploring the lush hills of Meghalaya. The nearest major gateway is Guwahati, which connects well by air and rail to major Indian cities. From Guwahati Airport (approx. 198 km): - By Private Taxi: The most convenient option is to pre-book a private taxi directly from the airport to the resort. The drive takes around 5.5–6.5 hours, following the scenic Guwahati–Shillong–Jowai route. Expect winding hill roads, misty valleys and plenty of viewpoints along the way. - By Shared Jeep + Local Transfer: Budget travelers can first travel from the airport to the city taxi stand in Guwahati, then take a shared jeep or sumo towards Shillong. From Shillong, shared jeeps and local taxis run to Jowai and further along the Jowai–Dawki Road. From Jowai town, hire a local taxi to reach the resort near Jarain village. - By Bus: State transport and private buses operate between Guwahati and Shillong, and onward connections are available towards Jowai. Once in Jowai, a short taxi ride takes you to the property close to Jarain village on the Jowai–Dawki road. From Guwahati Railway Station (approx. 176 km): - By Private Taxi: Step out of the station and hire a taxi directly to the resort. This is the most seamless option for families and groups, with a journey time similar to the airport route. - By Shared Jeep: Take a shared jeep or sumo from Guwahati towards Shillong, then change to another shared vehicle for Jowai. From Jowai, hire a local taxi to reach the resort. This option is more economical, though it involves changes and slightly longer travel time. From Shillong: If you are already in Shillong, reaching the resort is straightforward. Shared jeeps and buses ply the Shillong–Jowai route frequently. Once you reach Jowai town, hire a taxi towards Amrkein along the Jowai–Dawki road; the property is located near Jarain village, well known as a stopover for travelers heading to nearby waterfalls and Dawki. Road Conditions & Tips: - Roads are mostly well-paved but winding, so motion sickness medication may help sensitive travelers. - Daytime travel is recommended to enjoy the scenery and for easier navigation. - Mobile networks can be patchy in some stretches, so keep offline maps and your driver’s contact handy.
