Many will know the name Tonglu which is a small village on the trekking route to Sandakphu. Tonglu is actually one of the peaks of the Singalila range at an altitude of 10,130 ft. While entering Tonglu, one gets to have the first glimpse of the flowering rhododendrons in Spring. The village is about 11 km from Manebhanjan, the base for the Sandakphu trek, and 2 km away from Meghma, another beautiful village in the lap of the Himalayas. From Tonglu a trekking route also leads to Tumling. From certain viewpoints at Tonglu, on clear days can be spotted the Kanchenjunga range, as also the beautiful view of the view lights of Darjeeling and Kalimpong at night. 1. How to reach the campsite?
You can reach the campsite by reserving a car from NJP to Manebhanjan which will cost you around 4000/- for a Tata SUV then Manebhanjan to Tonglu cost you 2000/- in landrover(You have to cross Manebhanjan before 02:00 p.m)or similar or you can take share cars from Darjeeling More to Ghoom/Sukhiya Pokhri will cost you 400/-, then take again share a car from Ghoom/Sukhiya to Manebhanjan cost you 400/- then Manebhanjan to Tonglu cost you 2000/- in landrover(You have to cross Manebhanjan before 02:00 p.m)
2. What are the staying option available at the campsite?
Homestay is available at Tonglu.
3. What we will get at this price?
Accommodation and Food are included in the package but you can order Chicken Barbeque and other foods at the campsite depending upon availability.
4. Facilities available at the campsite?
Running water and western toilets. Car pickup-drop and Guide facilities on request are available at the campsite.
5. Safety at your campsite?
As local people run our camps, we can assume they are the best person to provide safety.
6. Alcohol consumption?
Tonglu is an adventurous campsite providing experiences very close to nature. As alcohol consumption is injurious to health, we strongly discourage the drinking of alcohol in the campsite.

As Every part of the Himalayas is worth taking a photo still we can name a few like - Tumling, Kalipokhri, Sandakphu, etc.
