Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Narkanda Homestay is straightforward with multiple travel options from major hubs in Himachal and Chandigarh. By Air: The nearest airport is Chandigarh Airport, around 183 km away. From the airport, you can hire a private taxi directly to Narkanda for the fastest and most comfortable transfer, especially if you’re carrying luggage or traveling as a couple. Budget-conscious travelers can take a bus or shared jeep from Chandigarh towards Shimla and then onward to Narkanda. By Train: Kalka Railway Station, about 146 km from Narkanda, is the most convenient railhead. After arriving at Kalka, you can: - Book a private taxi for a scenic hill drive to Narkanda. - Take a bus towards Shimla and then connect to another bus or shared jeep from Shimla to Narkanda. This route offers beautiful views of the Shivalik hills and pine forests as you ascend into the mountains. By Road: Narkanda is well connected by road. The nearest bus stand is at Narkanda itself, approximately 110 km from Kalka side by road. Regular buses run from Shimla, Chandigarh, and other nearby towns. You may: - Board a government or private bus to Narkanda Bus Stand and walk or take a short local transfer to the homestay. - Opt for a shared jeep from key hill towns if you prefer a quicker, yet affordable option. Local Transfers: From the Narkanda market area, you can reach Narkanda Homestay by a brief walk or a short ride in a local taxi. Private taxis are best for those arriving late in the evening or with heavy luggage, while shared jeeps and buses are ideal for budget travelers who want to experience local hill travel.
