Reschedule
Rescheduling is available only for individual stay bookings by paying an additional non-refundable amount, which will be displayed during the booking process. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable to your wallet. Please note that the rescheduling option is not applicable to packages.
For example, if your total billing amount is ₹5,000 and you pay a token amount to activate a rescheduling-friendly booking (which is not included in your total billing amount), the rescheduling will follow these terms: Upon rescheduling, 25% of your billing amount (₹1,250) will be deducted, and the remaining ₹3,750 will be transferred to your Izifiso wallet.
If the booking allows rescheduling, it will be processed as per the specified terms. If the booking is not rescheduling-friendly, the option will not be available.
Reaching Nongjrong Homesay is a scenic journey through the hills of Meghalaya. The nearest major railway hub is Guwahati Railway Station, about 146 km away. From here, you can hire a private taxi directly to Nongjrong for the most comfortable and flexible option, especially if you’re carrying luggage or traveling with family. Budget-conscious travelers can take a shared jeep or bus towards Shillong from Guwahati, then switch to a local shared jeep or taxi for the onward leg to Nongjrong. The route winds through misty valleys and pine-covered hills, so keep your camera handy. If you’re flying, Guwahati Airport is roughly 168 km from the property. Taxis are available right from the airport; many travelers prefer to pre-book a cab for a smoother transfer. Both shared jeeps and buses to Shillong are also accessible from Guwahati city, with onward connections to Nongjrong. Roads in this part of Meghalaya are generally well-maintained but can be winding, so plan extra travel time during the monsoon. Once you arrive in Nongjrong village, local directions are straightforward, and the homestay’s location is easily accessible by car, with convenient on-site parking.
